I am excited to announce that I received a Silver Honorable Mention from the Writers of the Future contest! This is a step higher than previous honorable mentions. (See this post and why I think honorable mentions with WotF are BIG small wins.) This is the third story I’ve submitted (and the third honor received).
This time, I entered a story that could be summarized as dark fantasy with Phantom of the Opera undertones. I loved writing it. Even got to use the mythical creature Kelpie.
