2016 Writing Adventures

We’ve slipped into February (already?!). I’m carrying my momentum from the end of 2015 into this year. This includes writing every day, reading, and studying the craft.

As you may know, I’m a big Star Wars fan. I’ve been reading the books in the series Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And I’ve been catching up on some old Sci-fi that I should have read a long time ago. I found this amazing set of audio dramas at my library called Alien Voices. In it, John de Lancy and Leanord Nemoy (among other talents) act out such novels as Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Time Machine, and The First Man in the Moon. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I’m exited to tease you a bit with a novel update of my own. I’ve been working with a good friend on a collaboration project and we are making great progress with the first book in the series we are writing togther. Oh how I wish I could tell you all about it, but then that would ruin the suprise and the mysteries that we have planned. Lately I’ve even had dreams of where the next scene is taking my characters. It has been a fantastic experience and we will continue to pound words on our keyboards so that we can deliver this exciting adventure to you. More to come!

I leave you with an image about writing partners.
