Hello April! I can’t wait to see spring officially be here. It’s been hot and then cold, rainy and frosty, windy and threats of tornados. Meanwhile my rose bush is begging to get green. Beyond garden updates, I have several upcoming book sales, book events, and in person events to share. (I’ll have a March update email soon as well! But this way it won’t be overcrowded in one post)
Vote For My Works
I have two open voting periods for some of my writing:

My book, Tavern Tale, has been nominated for the “Cover of the Month” contest on AllAuthor.com. This will help me a lot if I could see some votes coming in, so please remember to vote my book.
People’s choice award voting is live for the Gal’s Guide Anthology: Female Friendships! I have two up for your consideration.

- Toil and Trouble (a creative non fiction)
- Would I Take the Poisoned Cup? (Poem)

See Me at the HELP Local Author Fair

My next event will be at the Hamilton Easter Public Library Local Author Fair! It’s hosted at the FORUM Events Center, 11313 USA Pkwy, Fishers, Indiana. The 2025 Local Author Fair, a free, open house-style event for all ages. The event will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. I’ll be doing a live reading at 2:30!

Nearly 70 local authors and literary organizations from Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, Westfield, Cicero, Indianapolis, Greenwood, Anderson, Crawfordsville, and beyond will have exhibit space for the public to meet them with opportunities to purchase their books. Authors will be available for book signings. There will be chances to win book bundles and other prizes for those who attend. Returning to the fair for a second year are storytimes and short readings featuring participating authors throughout the afternoon, in a room adjacent to the exhibit space.
I hope to see you there!
Earth Month Book List
April is Earth Month! To celebrate all that she gives us, check out this curated list of books through the month of April. Any book with eco, environmental, and earthy themes is included. Eco-horror story? Yep. Cozy hedge witch story? Of course. Story has awesome animal relationships? Come on in! Elemental magic? Say less! Imaginari is part of the list, but check out these other books as well.
